Purpose (1924-26):
The purpose of this Association shall be:
Historical and genealogical research and the collection, preservation and publication of books, records, manuscripts or other articles or material pertaining or having a historical or antiquarian value to the Taylor Family, having in mind the descendants of James Taylor who settled in New Kent County, Virginia, and died there on April 30, 1698; the conduction of meetings and reunions of members of the Family and the dissemination among them of information of a historical and genealogical nature; the acquisition of titles to and the preservation of old landmarks, homesteads, or other historical sites connected with the Family, and the establishment of suitable memorials or monuments thereon; the right to receive, hold and disburse moneys or other assets for the accomplishment of the purposes stated herein.
