The 2019 Reunion:

June 21, 22 & 23 in Lexington, KY.

The 2019 Reunion is approaching, and here are a few details for our Dear Cousins and Friends:
Dates: activities are planned for Friday, June 21st, Saturday, June 22nd, and Sunday, June 23rd. The luncheon & meeting will be held in the beautiful gardens of Nan Taylor Palmer (on Sunday.) Nan is doing SO MUCH to help with this year’s Lexington Get-Together!
Other Activities: Genealogy Session with Steve Taylor, a view the  Hubbard Taylor file (including letters from James Taylor IV) at UK Library, tour and dinner at Castle & Key Distillery (E. H. Taylor’s original distillery that has been beautifully restored,) Dinners with Cousins, and trips to see family cemeteries, and , of course, our Reunion Luncheon, with a wonderful talk by Bobbi Newell, one of our family historians.
A BLOCK OF ROOMS has been reserved at Courtyard by Marriott in Lexington at the Hamburg Exit. 1951 Pleasant Ridge, I75 Exit 108, Lexington, KY 40509. Just ask for “The Taylor Association” block. Rooms in this block are available June 20-25, any or all nights. Some rooms have a King bed, and some have 2 Queens. You can work out the details with them by calling (859)263-9090. William O’Neil is the group reservations Manager.
PLEASE TELL ME IF YOU PLAN TO ATTEND by responding to this e-mail. We need numbers soon so catering and other arrangements can be made. Later, you will receive a more detailed, formal registration to return to me, but right now we need numbers. I so hope MANY of you will be able to attend.

The genealogy session is for sharing and exchanging genealogy information.  Bring your lap tops/genealogy information.  There is no formal genealogy presentation.  See Steve at the reunion for the meeting place (to be arranged) or email for further information:

The U of K Library visit will be to view the Hubbard Taylor file including letters from his father, James Taylor IV.
