The association has divided the country into nine regions for the purpose of electing board members (one member from each region). Your name, city, state & email address will appear on your region’s page so that you can communicate & choose one board member. NO EMAIL ADDRESS WILL MEAN YOU DO NOT WANT TO BE CONSIDERED FOR OR PARTICIPATE IN THE ELECTION OF YOUR REGION’S BOARD MEMBER.
The only problem you will have after joining wordpress is an abundance of emails when I update the website because I often make mistakes/change wording/rearrange pages/etc. until I get things right. You can easily delete all of these and then check the site after the emails stop coming to see what is new (or open just the most recent email). And of course you can always cancel your free account & thus your connection to this private site at any time. But please don’t because the officers need a fast way to get information to all of you.
